Santa Fe Playhouse Caps Year With ‘You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown (Revised)’

Santa Fe Playhouse News:

Santa Fe Playhouse (SFP) will end the 2024 season with You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown (Revised). Based on the comic strip Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz; Book, music, and lyrics by Clark Gesner; Additional dialogue by Michael Mayer and additional music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa. Directed by Christine McHugh.

You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown (Revised) will perform on the mainstage (142 East De Vargas St. in Santa Fe) Dec. 5 through Dec. 29. Performances are 7:30 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and 2 p.m.  Saturdays and Sundays. Opening Night is 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7.

Charlie Brown and the entire Peanuts gang explore life’s great questions as they play baseball, struggle with homework, sing songs, swoon over their crushes, and celebrate the joy of friendship. It’s a classic for the entire family.

With Jeffrey Barba as Linus, Kate Bergeron as Lucy, Rikki Carroll as Sally, Kelsey Landon* as Snoopy, Dakotah Lopez as Charlie, and Malcom Stokes as Schroeder.

Features scenic design by James W. Johnson, costume design by Leah Ellis, sound design by Saibi Khalsa, and props design by Emily Rankin. The music director is Gretchen Amstutz, and the choreographer is Laura Orozco Garrett. The stage manager is Lara Terrell, and the assistant stage managers are Emme Segler and Emma Ziegler. Other creative team members to be announced at a future date.
