COUNTY News:

SCORE Santa Fe & Northern New Mexico, a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration,  has announced the introduction of two small business mentors to serve Los Alamos and the surrounding communities of the Española Valley.

Yuri Findlay and Tim Daniel bring a wealth of experience and expertise to support local entrepreneurs and small business owners in this region.

Findlay, a U.S. Air Force veteran with a diverse industry background, brings his training expertise and entrepreneurial experience to the SCORE team.

“As a business owner and serial entrepreneur, I sit on several boards to help support, mentor and guide businesses towards having a positive impact in the communities we serve,” Findlay said.

Daniel, a seasoned entrepreneur with more than 15 years of experience at SCORE, has worked with more than 600 small business owners across various industries.

“I have a particular passion for understanding why some businesses succeed and others fail,” Daniel said.

SCORE Santa Fe & Northern New Mexico offers free and confidential mentoring, as well as educational resources to foster vibrant small business communities. Since 2020, most services have moved online, allowing small business owners to access support from their homes or offices. If a client prefers, in person sessions are also available to foster the bond between mentor and client.
