Ranger Anthony Magdalena leads a monthly demonstration of Traditional Pueblo Gardening at Coronado Historic Site.
Each month Ranger Anthony will focus on a different aspect of garden care and maintenance. This month he’ll teach best practices for raw and ripe harvesting of fruit.

This program is included with admission of $7 for adults and free to children 16 years and younger, New Mexico residents 60 years and older with ID, people with Native/Tribal affiliations, disabled veterans and foster families.
This program teaches participants traditional gardening techniques used by the Pueblo people, connecting modern gardening to the history of the land. Next demonstration is 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 4 at Coronado Historic Site and Kuaua Pueblo, located just minutes north of Albuquerque (off I-25, Exit 242) at 485 Kuaua Road in Bernalillo.
