Northern Río Grande National Heritage Area Presents Second Annual Cultures & Creators Visual Arts Festival

The Northern Río Grande National Heritage Area will present the second annual Cultures & Creators Visual Arts Festival Sept. 14-22 at Los Luceros Historic Site.

What: Presented by Northern Rio Grande National Heritage Area (NRGNHA) and held at Los Luceros Historic Site, Cultures & Creators Visual Arts Festival celebrates the incredible cultural and artistic heritage of Northern New Mexico with a juried art exhibit in the Community Room featuring the work of local artists.

This year, NRGNHA is honored to present Wesley Vigil as the 2024 Featured Artist. Vigil’s work, a mesmerizing blend of traditional Pueblo pottery techniques and contemporary storytelling, embodies the cultural tapestry and diverse heritage of Northern New Mexico. Learn more at culturesandcreators.com/. Admission is $7 for adults and free to children ages 16 and younger. Admission during the Los Luceros Harvest Festival on Sunday, Sept. 22, is $10 for adults and $5 for children.

When: Sept. 14-22, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Juried art exhibit open during Los Luceros regular business days, Wednesday – Sunday (site closed Monday and Tuesday). Artist demonstrations and workshops take place on the weekend.
