ACRR News:
Scott Baily had perfect prediction in the Atomic City Road Runners weekly pace race Tuesday on Rendija Road in Rendija Canyon off Barranca Mesa. He predicted a finish time of 29:00 minutes and finished in that stated time.
Other accurate predictors were:
On the 1 mile course:
- Lisa Johnson was the best finisher with a 30 second differential as well as the best female finisher with a time of 12:02;
- Sonja Behnke at 33 seconds off;
- Teddy Atkins, Junior recorded a 51 second difference and was the top finisher at 9:50; and
- Jacky Atkins had a 54 second differential.
On the 3 mile course:
- Paul Geimer was the best finisher recording a 25:34; and
- Madeline Harms was the top female at 34:50.
Next week’s race will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, and will start at the Pajarito Complex on Arizona Avenue (presently a LANL facility, formerly a County school).
1 mile paved and 3 mile hybrid (paved and trail) courses will be available.
