SANTA FE — The New Mexico Cannabis Control Division (CCD) has issued a consumer health and safety advisory after identifying contaminated cannabis flower (bud/shake/trim) that tested positive for a prohibited pesticide.
The affected products, produced and sold by WH Agriculture, LLC DBA Maggie’s Farm, were distributed to cannabis retailers between March 6, 2024, and Aug. 1, 2024. A full list of package IDs as well as a list of retail locations that received the products can be found below.
The licensee has been ordered to immediately remove any cannabis products linked to parent ID #8839486308602637 from the market.
The CCD is committed to protecting public health and safety by ensuring that all cannabis products comply with state regulations. This advisory includes cannabis products that tested positive for pyrethrins, a pesticide exceeding legal limits under 16.8.7.15 NMAC. Licensees must comply with the Pesticide Control Act, (Sections 76-4-1 et seq. NMSA 1978).
Consumers should review the list below to see if they purchased a contaminated product. If so, they are advised to destroy it or return it to the retailer for proper disposal.
No health-related complaints have been reported to the CCD in connection to this recall. However, anyone with concerns should contact the New Mexico Poison Control Hotline at 800.222.1222 or consult their healthcare provider.
For non-health-related complaints, consumers may file a complaint with the CCD, including their contact information.
