ACRR News:
Chloe Keilers was the top predictor in the Atomic City Road Runners (ACRR) weekly pace race Tuesday on the Lower Water Canyon Trail on N.M. 4 in the White Rock area. She had a 14 second differential from her predicted time.
Other accurate predictors were:
- Catherine Hensley at 15 seconds off;
- Cliff Stanley with a 20 second difference;
- Valerio Pinchetti recording 24 seconds off; and
- Deana Tsang with a 37 second differential.
On the 1 mile course:
- Levi Gartz, 10, was the top finisher at 8:23; and
- Aurea Rojas was the first female finisher with a time of 11:28.
In the 2 mile distance:
- Hal Marshall recorded a time of 22:51 for first place; and
- Sonja Behnke was the best female was at 25:08.
On the 3 mile course:
- Eric Anderson was the best finisher at 21:36; and
- Madeline Harms was the top female with a time of 31:20.
Next week’s race will be the last race of the 2024 season, the 50th season of the Club.
The race is 6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 1 at the Canyon Rim Trailhead on East Road (N.M. 502) across the road from the Co-operative Market1, 2 and 3 mile paved courses will be available.
