SANTA FE — The New Mexico Secretary of State’s Office (SOS) announced Friday that all business transactions with the SOS’s office beginning Nov. 12, 2024 will be conducted through its online business filing portal.
The SOS’s online filing portal, SOS Enterprise, has been the portal for Notary, UCC and Facsimile Filings for the past year. In November, all Business Filings will be a part of this portal, allowing for a more user friendly and updated environment. Customers will be able to register and maintain their businesses through this portal.
The SOS’s office is making this announcement one month before the transition to allow users ample time to anticipate the change, update their records and bookmarks, and request refunds for prepaid accounts.
Importantly, users with prepaid account balances in the current Business Filing System will receive refunds for those accounts as prepaid accounts will not transfer to the new filing system.
Important Information
- Beginning Nov. 12, 2024, all online business transactions will be available at https://enterprise.sos.nm.gov.
- All online Business, Notary, Apostille and UCC transactions will be unavailable beginning Nov. 7 at 5 p.m. and will remain unavailable through Nov. 11, 2024 as we transition systems.
- Prepaid accounts will not be available in the new filing system. Users with a prepaid account balance in the current Business Filing System will receive refunds to the name and address on the account.
