Los Luceros Historic Site To Host Ranger Walk ‘N Talk Tours Guiding Visitors Through Historic District Dec. 4 & 18

Los Luceros Historic Site News:

The community is invited to join Interpretive Ranger Kara on one of two guided tours through Los Luceros’ historic district in December.

Visitors will be guided around the site and its buildings, like the nineteenth-century chapel, and learn unique history, such as how it was rebuilt by Luis and Eliza Ortiz after the previous chapel was washed away by the Rio Grande.

Visitors will also learn about other interesting characters from the past who lived and worked on the property.

The tour is included with admission of $7/adults and free to New Mexico Seniors and children 16 and younger.
