NMED General Counsel Zachary Ogaz
NMED News:
SANTA FE — The New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) is improving transparency by making public records easily accessible to the public.
Requestors of public information will now have the option of submitting open records requests through an online form. This new, convenient option will join traditional methods for submitting requests, which remain available.
“This new system will allow the New Mexico Environment Department to improve the records requesting experience effectively overnight,” NMED General Counsel Zachary Ogaz said. “It will also allow our team to more efficiently respond to requests, increasing transparency.”
NMED’s online request form is available at https://nmenv.justfoia.com/publicportal/.
