The Los Alamos Ice Rink is proud to announce the return of the Nuclear Shootout Hockey Tournament, set to take place from Friday, Jan. 17 to Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025. This exciting, three-day college hockey event will feature top teams from across the nation, bringing high-intensity action to the ice.
Clarification on Team Lineup:
Due to a recent change, we would like to clarify the updated list of teams participating in this year’s tournament. The following universities will now compete:
- Texas State University
- Texas A&M University
- Santa Clara University
- Arizona State University
- University of New Mexico
We are excited to welcome these highly competitive teams and look forward to a weekend filled with thrilling matchups.
Tournament Schedule:
Friday, Jan. 17, 2025
5:30 p.m. – Santa Clara University vs. Texas A&M University
8 p.m. – University of New Mexico vs. Arizona State University (WCHC Conference Game)
Saturday, Jan. 18, 2025
12 p.m. – Texas State University vs. Santa Clara University
4:30 p.m. – University of New Mexico vs. Texas A&M University
7 p.m. – Texas State University vs. Arizona State University
Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025
8:30 a.m. – Santa Clara University vs. University of New Mexico
11 a.m. – Texas A&M University vs. Arizona State University
