LAAC News:
The Los Alamos Arts Council (LAAC) has announced its spring and summer line up of adult and youth educational arts programs hosted at Fuller Lodge Art Center.
Spring break art camps can be a great part of a staycation if a student needs a place to get their creative energy flowing. This year, the arts council has camps for conferences and some additional fun art classes to make the Spring Break fly by. Conference camps are in partnership with Los Alamos STEAM Lab this year, too so when participants sign up for art in the morning and STEAM in the afternoon, staff will help get the kiddos to their camp in Central Park Square from the Art Center.
The weather outside may not feel like summer, but  art camps are ready to go for artsy students all summer long. With camps that connect students with art from around the world, into outer space, and back again, don’t want to wait to sign up. Classes fill fast, and this year is no different, so hop online and find the perfect camp for your creative child. This year we have several new teachers, sewing programs, visual and 3D arts and much more.
There are classes for adult students, too. There are classes for honing skills in mobile photography, learning to throw on a ceramics wheel, or taking an introductory class in watercolors or drawing.
