SANTA FE — The Santa Fe Children’s Museum invites you to the 2025 Capitol Ford Santa Fe Move for the Museum 5K Run/Walk presented by Forked Lightning Racquet Club from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Sunday, April 27, at Bicentennial/Alto Park (1043 Alto St). This family-friendly fundraiser honors the memory of board member and beloved community advocate Michaelann Perea.
Whether you run, walk, or cheer from the sidelines, you’ll be part of a day filled with fun and purpose, supporting programs that bring joyful learning to children across Northern New Mexico. Little ones will love the Kids Discovery Play Zone, with hands-on Museum exhibits and activities. Plus, everyone can refuel with delicious food and drinks, featuring local favorites Chef Mary’s Gourmet, Dragonfly Tea, and Sunday at Grams from The Kitchen Table from 8:30-11 a.m. or until sold out.
Proceeds fund camp scholarships, upgrades to the Backyard playspace, the portable planetarium, free field trips for title one schools, and the Van of Enchantment Mobile Museum, presented by the Rotary Club of Santa Fe and Thornburg Investment Management, along with other vital Museum programs.
