ACRR News:
Results are in from the Atomic City Road Runners (ACRR) weekly Pace Race held April 22 at the Cañada del Buey Trail in White Rock.
Catherine Hensley and Zeke Wilmot tied for best prediction at 12 seconds off their predicted time.
Other accurate predictors were Felix Candia with a 15 second differential as well as the top finisher on the 1-mile course at 13:55; Eric Anderson at 22 seconds off and also the best finisher in the 3-mile distance recording a 20:22; Jan Velechovsky coming in at 56 seconds off his predicted time and David Kunsberg recording a 62 second difference.
Ivana Velechovsky, 6, was the first 1-mile female finisher with a time of 15:42.
In the 3-mile distance, Sanna Sevanto was the top female finisher at 27:25.
Next week’s race will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 29 on North Mesa in the horse stable area starting on the South side of the rodeo arena by the restrooms. 1, 2 and 3 mile courses will be available.
