A new floribunda rose “Sheila’s Perfume” was provided by Arlene Mansfield and planted by the Los Alamos Garden Club in the Los Alamos Memorial Rose Garden Saturday, May 17, in honor of longtime Los Alamos residents Bart and Colleen Olinger.

The nearly 200 roses growing in the Memorial Rose Garden garden are protected from deer by chicken wire cages while awaiting a fence, which Los Alamos County is scheduled to provide in the near future.
