ECECD News:

The Early Childhood Education and Care Department’s Early Childhood Education and Nutrition (ECEN) division and the Family Support and Early Intervention (FSEI) division have completed their move.

As of Monday, May 19, 2025, these divisions are now operating from their new location at 1105 S. St. Francis Dr., Santa Fe, NM 87505.

The ECEN division includes key programs and bureaus such as New Mexico PreK), the Family Nutrition Bureau responsible for the Child and Adult Care Food Program and Summer Food Service Program, and the Child Care Services Bureau. The FSEI division encompasses vital services including the Family Infant Toddler (FIT) Program, the Home Visiting Program, and the Families FIRST Program.

We are confident that this transition is enhancing the department’s ability to maintain an exceptional service level and foster greater collaboration within the community. This new location features amenities designed with parents and caregivers in mind, including a dedicated lactation room and an on-site child care facility. By establishing a workplace that recognizes and supports the needs of parents and families, we are better equipped to support our staff—ultimately advancing our mission to serve New Mexico’s children and families more effectively.
