Daily Postcard: This Ash-Throated Flycatcher and others have been seen repeatedly in the last week near Kimberly Lane on the Canyon Rim Trail in White Rock. According to All About Birds, these flycatchers live in dry scrub, woodlands, and deserts in the West. They are especially well-suited to these habitats, since they don’t need to drink water. Rather, they get all the water they need from the insects they eat. Photo by Richard Skolnik
