New Mexico Aging & Long-Term Services is excited to announce that the deadline to submit artwork for the 47th Annual Conference on Aging has been extended to June 30, 2025!
We are inviting New Mexico-based artists to submit original artwork inspired by this year’s theme: EngAGE as you Age.
This theme celebrates aging as an active, empowered, and meaningful journey. It encourages older adults to remain engaged physically, socially, intellectually, and civically and highlights joy, vitality, and intergenerational connection through lifelong learning and community involvement. We’re seeking artwork that captures this energy and spirit of continued growth and purpose.
The selected piece will be featured on:
- The official 2025 Commemorative Conference Poster
- The printed conference program
- New Mexico Aging Services’ social media and outreach platforms
Updated Submission Details:
- New Deadline: By 11:59 p.m., June 30, 2025
- Artist Honorarium: $1,500 (flat rate)
- Licensing agreement required upon selection
