Join us at Jemez Historic Site from 10 a.m.–3 p.m., Sunday, July 20, to learn how to bake bread in the newly restored horno, or outdoor adobe oven. Heather Reed will be demonstrating bread baking in the horno. Visitors are welcome to ask questions and will have the opportunity to taste and purchase the bread fresh out of the oven. All ages are welcome!

This is a great way to learn a traditional Pueblo bread-baking technique through a hands-on demonstration. The demonstration is included with admission of $7/adults and free to children 16 and younger, people with Native/Tribal affiliations, disabled veterans, foster families and MNMF and FCJHS members.
