New Mexico Summits author Adam White is scheduled to speak at noon today at the Rotary Club of Los Alamos at United Church, 2525 Canyon Road, and accessible online via Google Meet at https://meet.google.com/nxv-scwx-unt.
Adam White grew up in southern Louisiana, where his passion for wild and remote landscapes was ignited through reading National Geographic and explorer biographies. After relocating to northern New Mexico post-Hurricane Katrina, he began immersing himself in the alpine and desert terrain of the Four Corners region.
In addition to his guide to some of the state’s most beautiful high country, he also co-founded TruFit, a fitness app focused on adaptive training for people of all abilities, and he was the executive director for Waves 4 All, a nonprofit providing inclusive surfing and sailing opportunities.
Today’s talk is free and open to the public.
