The Palestine Film Series continues with the documentary “Israelism” provided to the community free of charge at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, at SALA Event Center.

The two previous documentaries provided to the community from the Palestine Film Series, “No Other Land” and “Where Olive Trees Weep”, were created by Palestinians living on the West Bank.

The next film in the series, “Israelism,” is from the point of view of young Jews.

“When two young American Jews, raised to unconditionally love Israel, witness the brutal way Israel treats Palestinians, their lives take sharp left turns. They join a movement of young American Jews battling the old guard to redefine Judaism’s relationship with Israel, revealing a deepening generational divide over modern Jewish identity.”

This film series is intended to inform people and encourage discussion about the situation with Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.
