Champions of Youth Ambitions (C’YA) and the family of Mikey Aslam would like to thank Vickie and Bob Griffis for their heartfelt restoration of the planters at the Betty Ehart Senior Center. The box on the upper level is complete, while his planters in the Bower Garden near completion.

The idea to clean up the Bower Garden and renovate the planters came from an act of kindness done by Mr. Bower many years ago. Vickie always said she’d pay the kindness back.

Mikey passed away in October of 2022. Champions of Youth Ambitions oversees the Mikey Aslam Scholarship for the Aslam family. The scholarship has assisted in sending eight students to college. Mikey’s birthday was Aug 6.
