UNM-Los Alamos (UNM-LA), the Los Alamos Community Foundation and the UNM Foundation are hosting a luncheon titled, Creating and Giving from Your Estate Plan, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 25 at the SALA Event Center. Lunch will be provided.
In this luncheon, attendees will learn about the key elements of an effective estate plan, the costs associated, and why each is important. They will also hear about ways they can include charitable gifts in their estate plan. There are actions people can take today that will give them greater peace of mind and ensure their beneficiaries, including their chosen charities, receive what was intended.
The presenters are Shay Burns Kendricks, J.D., Los Alamos Estate Law, LLC, and Elizabeth Harcombe, Director of Development, Planned Giving, UNM Foundation.
