LAAC News:
The community is invited to join Los Alamos Arts Council (LAAC) Friday and Saturday for its most anticipated shopping weekend at the Fuller Lodge Art Center. More than 130 artists have taken over the gallery with gifts priced to take home for the holidays as a gift to give or keep.
LAAC will have Black Friday prizes and treats 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, in addition to the unique and wonderful selections of art and crafts. Become a member this Friday to receive 10 percent off all year round. Additionally, everyone who becomes a member Friday or Saturday will be entered to receive a gift card worth $100 for the store with a drawing on Dec. 23.
Saturday is Shop Small Saturday in Los Alamos and around the country. This event is designed to keep local dollars in local businesses by encouraging everyone to shop at small, local, businesses in and near their own towns. At Fuller Lodge Art Center, Shop Small dollars do double the work. Every dollar spent supports LAAC’s non-profit mission and puts money in the hands of one of small business owner artists. There will be door prizes, free gifts with purchase on a variety of items, and some of the artists will be in the gallery talking about their works.
Fuller Lodge Art Center is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Black Friday and Shop Small Saturday.
The Los Alamos Arts Council is a 501c3 Non-Profit organization dedicated to uniting our communities through the arts.
