SANTA FE — The New Mexico State Historic Preservation Division has launched a new digital tool to make it easier than ever for users to submit vital information for projects that advance New Mexico’s cultural legacy.
Earlier this year, the Historic Preservation Division (NMHPD) launched a public portal for the submission of all projects and applications needing review. Children charge down a grassy slope to collect Easter eggs Saturday morning during the Elks and Freedom Church Easter Egg Hunt at Ashley Pond Park. The event featured 20,000 plastic eggs filled with 35,000 pieces of candy and toys. Volunteers spent six weeks filling the eggs. ‘I Voted’ Sticker Design Contest Deadline Extended
COUNTY News:
The 2026 “I Voted” Sticker Design Contest is in full swing, and the deadline has been extended to April 14.
The contest is open to students in grades pre-K through 12 to inspire creativity and share the importance of voting and civic participation.
Students must submit their designs to the Los Alamos County Clerk’s Office no later than April 14, 2026.
Each design must include ONE of the following phrases:
- “I Voted”
- “I Voted Early”
- “Future Voter”
