The Taos Chamber Music Group’s 30th Anniversary Season continues Friday, Dec. 9 with a solo piano recital and Dec. 10-11 with a chamber music program, both featuring the astonishingly talented pianist Gleb Ivanov. Audiences received an extra sweet surprise when Ray Rankin proposed to Julie Grey during the Saturday evening performance of ‘Clue: On Stage’. Rankin entered the stage as ‘Mr. Black’, and cast member Holly Robinson (who portrays Yvette in the show) called ‘Mademoiselle’ Grey up to join him. After Grey accepted Rankin’s proposal of marriage, Robinson led the couple to a red velvet couch in the front row, from which they enjoyed the rest of the show. The National Hispanic Cultural Center is offering a guided tour of the Mundos de Mestizaje fresco by Frederico Vigil twice a week, at 11 a.m. Thursdays and Fridays.
Located in the Torreón on the NHCC Campus, Mundos de Mestizaje depicts thousands of years of Hispanic culture, history, and identity.
Admission for the tour is $2 and tickets are available for advance purchase below.
Tickets can also be purchased in the New Mexico Mutual Welcome Center, depending on availability. The capacity for each tour is limited.

After 12 years as Artistic Director of the Los Alamos Concert Association, Ann McLaughlin has announced that she will step back from her responsibilities at the end of the 2022-23 concert season.
