Seeking Artists For 2022 Affordable Arts Holiday Show
Los Alamos Arts Council is seeking artist for the 2022 Affordable Arts Holiday Show, which takes over the entire gallery shop and exhibit space at Fuller Lodge Art Center. This annual event provides a way for artists and shoppers to connect during the busy holiday selling/shopping season. Tree Thought To Be Dead Makes Spectacular Comeback
A tree filled with colorful fall leaves is spotted Monday at a home in the Pinon Trails neighborhood of White Rock. Eleven years ago in the summertime this home was vacant and this tree without a single leaf was thought to be dead. Placing a hose on a slow drip running over nutrition sticks inserted around its base began to draw the tree back to life. Singer Kim Richey Performs At Fuller Lodge Friday Nov. 4

When Singer-Songwriter Kim Richey last played to a packed house at Fuller Lodge, COVID-19 was not yet a reality.
A paying crowd beckoning the artist back for an encore in mid-June, when free concerts on Fridays are the norm in Los Alamos was quite a sight to see. Richey would return to the stage for another two songs and would leave Los Alamos thanking its residents for making her stay so comfortable and welcoming.
Now on the heels of a European tour, Los Alamos is one of the cities chosen to be included on Richey’s most recent US tour.
