The Museum of Indian Arts and Culture (MIAC), a division of the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs, will unveil its brand new permanent exhibition, Here, Now and Always, July 2, on Museum Hill in Santa Fe.

Hermits Peak & Calf Canyon Fire Viewed Near Station 6
A large smoke plume billows from the Hermits Peak and Calf Canyon combined Fire Saturday near Los Alamos County Fire Station No. 6 at 457 East Road. The fire has burned 301,971 acres and as of this morning is 34 percent contained. There are 1,958 personnel fighting the fire, which is burning heavy mixed conifer, ponderosa pine, brush, and grass. Los Alamos Photography Club Hosts Guided Tours Of 2022 Show At Step Up Gallery 5:30-7:30 PM Today!

COMMUNITY News:
The public is invited to attend a guided tour of the Los Alamos Photography Club’s show 5:45-7:45 p.m. today. May 17 at the Step Up Gallery, inside the Mesa Public Library.
Photographers will guide visitors through the show and discuss techniques, equipment, and subjects, as well as answering visitor questions. The show will be open until Thursday, May 26.
At the present time, masking and social distancing are optional in the gallery. However, these guidelines may change at short notice.
