Chalk Muralist Jennifer Leon Gets Into The Halloween Spirit

Chalk artist Jennifer Leon works on her annual Halloween chalk mural at 4949 Trinity Dr. ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ is this year’s subject. Leon said she started on the project about two weeks ago and is striving to finish in time for Halloween. Once the mural is finished, she will set up black lights so trick-or-treaters can view the art at night. Leon said she has been doing Halloween murals at the residence for nine years. Pueblo Canyon Inn Hosts Haunted Trail Walk Oct. 31

Pueblo Canyon Inn is holding a Haunted Trail Walk for Halloween, 6-9 p.m. Oct. 31.

“Last year, we put together a small, haunted walk for our kids and their friends,” Pueblo Canyon Inn owner Matthew Allen said. “Word of mouth spread and over 200 kids showed up. It was so much fun, we wanted to do it again this year.”

This free event will have both a less scary short cut, and a slightly longer walk through the woods for children who can handle something a little scarier.
