SciArt Santa Fe and UNM College of Fine Arts celebrate the winter solstice with “Return Into the Light,” a LASER Santa Fe talk by artist and holographer August Muth.

Muth sculpts with light creating holograms that immerse the viewer in a multi-sensory experience of saturated color and mystery.

Presented in coordination with Leonardo / International Society for the Arts, Sciences and Technology and Biocultura.

2020 Holiday Prism Concert On YouTube 2 P.M. Saturday

Los Alamos Community Winds (LACW) presents its annual Holiday Prism Concert at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the concert will be performed on YouTube.

The concert includes a series of performances by members from the community:

  • The Los Alamos Flute Choir;
  • The Covid Clarinets;
  • The SaxAtomix; and
  • The LACW Brass.

The concert also includes individual solo performances:

  • Flautists Heidi Morning and Tracey Speyrer; and
  • LACW director/trombonist Ted Vives all accompanied by pianist Julian Chen.
