My wife and I have been square dancing for 40 years.

When people learn this they almost invariably say, “Oh yes I did that back in elementary school, or middle school.”  Well, square dancing has changed and evolved since then into what we now call modern square dancing.

“Green Book” is truly one of the best films of last year. Performances by Viggo Mortenson (who gained weight for this role) and (a very elegant) Mahershala Ali are clearly worthy of nominations for the Oscar.

While practicing at a stick-and-puck session at the GCCC last Christmas time, Lobo hockey coach Grant Harvey encountered some players from Dallas Baptist Univ. and the conversation turned to the Los Alamos hockey rink.
 
As the Texans listened and began to pay more attention, some things stood out: Outdoor Hockey! At 7,200 feet! Wow! We gotta do this!
