The Sangre de Cristo Chorale invites new members to join its ranks. All voice parts are welcome, with alto 2, tenor and bass singers especially needed.

Auditions are 7-9 p.m., Aug. 1 and Aug. 8 at First Presbyterian Church, Pope Hall, 208 Grant Ave., in Santa Fe.

Auditioning singers are asked to bring a short classical piece, and to be prepared for some sight singing and brief vocalizations. Expectations of singers include previous choral experience, sight-reading ability, some foreign language skills, and regular rehearsal attendance. Read More
