The thrillls and chills of ChamberFest are set for June 8 in downtown Los Alamos.
The Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual event to provide an opportunity for its members to present their products and services to the Los Alamos community.

Since the start of year, the dance students of Los Alamos High School have been learning and perfecting the art of ballroom dance and will perform at 7 p.m. Monday, May 20 in the Dwayne Smith Auditorium. LAHS teacher Natasha Barkhudarova teaches her students the fundamentals of dance and performance and in this case, the dances were inspired by the musical Grease. Music filled Fuller Lodge May 5 as five students competed for the Deborah Beene Music Award.
First place went to Los Alamos High School senior Emily Silks who performed on the marimba. She was awarded $1,200 and is planning to attend the University of Montana in the fall, where she will major in music.
