The Los Alamos Little Theatre (LALT) invites the community to Myths & Moonbows, two one-act plays for two weekends of whimsical fun and heartfelt storytelling. The show opens on March 7 and runs through March 16, with performances at 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays March 7, 8, 14 and 15, and matinees at 2 p.m. Sundays March 9 and 16. SANTA FE — New Mexico Arts announces the state finals for the 20th anniversary of Poetry Out Loud® at 1 p.m., Sunday, March 16. Nine high school students from across New Mexico will participate in the competition. The Historic Santa Fe Foundation (HSFF) is thrilled to announce the opening of a group exhibition titled “One Hundred Percent.” All proceeds from the sale of artworks will go directly to benefit the Historic Santa Fe Foundation, a proud 501(c)(3) organization.

Local Kiwanian Karin Church treated the club to a presentation and slide show Feb. 18, detailing  her photography from the trip she took to Namibia with her son in January of last year.

She explained that the country is quite large, about 120 percent the size of Texas, with only major roads paved. After much research, they narrowed their scope of their travels to the sites and experiences they most wanted to include in their limited one-week adventure.
