COMMUNITY News:
AtomiComedy returns to Los Alamos Saturday, June 29, thanks to the efforts of a crack legal team who got the restraining order lifted just in time.
The show is hosted by Muy Salsas at 1315 Trinity Dr. and tickets are $10, available at the door. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the show starts at 8:30 p.m. Or come early and have dinner before the show (kitchen closes at 6:30 p.m.)
This will be the fourth AtomiComedy show produced by David Zimmermann. The shows are a mix of aspiring Los Alamos comedians and established comics from off the Hill.
Saturday’s show will be emceed by the lovely (and funny) Tyler Lovely and will feature newcomer Emily Stark, old-schooler Thomas Graves, wry-and-dry David Zimmermann, proper enunciator Susanne Caro, oh-god-please-don’t-go-there Sara Myers, and certain-to-offend TJ Jones.
Zimmermann hopes the AtomiComedy shows continue to pull in enough people to make the event worthwhile for the venue and for the comedians who travel here to perform (so, we’ve got to at least make gas money). He also enjoys creating an opportunity for latent comedians in Los Alamos to come forward and expose their inner funny bone.
Enjoy a relaxing evening of entertainment and plenty of laughs. An enthusiastic response is a welcome and necessary part of a successful evening.
