More than 70 suggestions came in for the recent poll conducted by the Los Alamos Daily Post to name a new baby basset hound for owner Karen Wray.

Wray has been pondering the many choices received but as she was walking her new baby puppy around the building of her art gallery Wednesday, a completely new idea came to her.

“I love Cajun music and have always loved the song Tipitina,” Wray said. “It’s happy, joyous, carefree and fun!”

So she decided to name her new puppy Tipitina.
