ACRR News:
Sonja Behnke was the best predictor in the Atomic City Road Runners weekly pace race held Tuesday on the Canada Bonita Trail by the Pajarito Ski Hill. She was 8 seconds off her predicted time.
Other accurate predictors were:
On the 1 mile course:
- Becky Chamberlin was the first finisher with a time of 12:50.
On the 2 mile course:
- Paul Geimer with Iris Geimer, 1, were the best finishers at 32:45; and
- Elizabeth Atkins was the first female finisher recording a 45:27.
On the 3 mile course:
- Lukas Zavorka was the top finisher at 22:08.
- Edith Acosta with a 11 second differential;
- Madeline Harms recording a 16 second difference as well as the top female finisher at 28:44;
- Tony Borek and Adrian Medin, 13, tied at 18 seconds off; and
- Zach Medin with a 22 second differential.
Next week’s race is 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 9 on the trail off N.M. 501 (West Jemez Road) across from the Laboratory “S” Site by the twin water tanks. 1 and 3 mile trail and 1 and 3 mile paved runs will be available.
