VaLynn Purvis and her family own and operate Party To Go! LLC. They have been a familiar fixture at every kind of fun event throughout the community for years – but that’s about to change.

“It is with a sad heart that I’m retiring from the family party business and ready to pass on the baton to another amazing family to serve and play with this wonderful community!” Purvis said. “I’m looking for a family or person interested in buying and taking over Party To Go!”

The Purvis family have run the business for more than 16 years.

“It’s been a wonderful business to do with my husband and five kids,” Purvis said. “They’ve been a tremendous support, hard workers and have loved playing with the community at all events we’ve been able to be a part of. It’s a lot of work and time, but the joy we see with the kids and families have made everything worth it! Thanks for all the hugs, laughter and cute smiles!”

Purvis  explained that as her children have grown and moved on, she and her husband have appreciated the extended “kids” who have stepped in to play with them when they needed extra hands.

“We appreciate all the new and regular customers we’ve had throughout the years, and especially all those involved to include us in all the different community events we have been able to attend,” she said. “Thank you to the schools, the county, the chamber, LA Mainstreet, the churches, the concerts, the sponsors, and all the families in Los Alamos County! I truly love the kids and community we’ve been able to create memories for! I will miss that the most, but you may see me helping whoever gets this job opportunity as it will be hard for me to stay away.

Purvis encourages anyone interested in buying this established business to contact her at  partytogo@gmail.com … “So we can plan your future of fun and memories!”
