Breaking News: Man And Woman Stabbed Overnight

LAPD News:

At 11:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, officers with the Los Alamos Police Department were dispatched to an apartment at 3301 Canyon Road in reference to a stabbing and upon arrival located two stabbing victims.

Los Alamos Fire Department arrived and transported both subjects to the Los Alamos Medical Center. One victim, a 27-year-old female from Los Alamos remains at LAMC with minor injuries, while the other victim, a 28-year-old male resident of Los Alamos was flown to UNM Hospital and is in critical condition.

Officers were not able to locate the suspect, who was identified as Andrea Rivera, 37, of Los Alamos. An arrest order was obtained and officers worked through the night processing the scene and trying to locate Rivera.

At 8 a.m. today, officers located and arrested Rivera at an apartment at 3590 Gold St. and she has been charged with two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon causing great bodily harm (3rd degree felony). She is being held without bond at the Los Alamos Detention Center until she can be taken before Los Alamos Magistrate Judge Pat Casados.

More information may be released in the near future as this case is still being actively investigated.
