Becky Hardy of Los Alamos won the Los Alamos Daily Post “1,000 Likes” Facebook contest last fall.
Hardy, shown here with her new T-shirt, successfully guessed that the Los Alamos Daily Post would hit “1,000 Likes” on its Facebook page at 2 p.m., Oct. 11, which was the day and time of her marriage in 1980.
A new contest is now underway with just 29 Facebook “Likes” to go to reach 2,000.

New Year Reflections Happy New Year! 2013 will be awesome … because I intend to make it so, for myself; besides, is there any other way?!
A few years ago, I encountered a young and energetic woman in a “Photoshop” workshop who said, “Every year I take on a new hobby or activity.
