Los Alamos National Laboratory has adopted a new cost model for Fiscal Year 2013 and LANL contractors have expressed concern about the consequences the new model may have on their businesses.

A line of hungry diners formed outside the Pajarito Brew Pub & Grill in Mari-Mac Shopping Center at 5 p.m. Friday, after the new restaurant opened to the public and quickly reached capacity. The line of people continued forming for nearly three hours as diners inside finished their meals and were quickly replaced by new diners – keeping the dining room full throughout the evening. WASHINGTON, D.C. – The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) today announced that the agency has saved taxpayers $519.3 million since 2007 through strategic sourcing.
In 2010, Secretary Steven Chu recognized NNSA for saving $213 million over the prior four years, but challenged the agency to increase cumulative savings to $450 million by 2012.
