Los Alamos Chamber And MainStreet Programs To Offer New e-Gift Card

CHAMBER News:

In collaboration with Los Alamos MainStreet & Creative District, the Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce is launching a new e-gift card program that will debut this Winter season.

The purchase of Chamber Checks will cease as of Dec. 1, and the Chamber and MainStreet will be able to offer an e-gift card. This process will be much faster for cashiers to process, and much more efficient for those who want to purchase a gift that supports a variety of local businesses.

Chamber Checks are being phased out, but for now are still being issued. They are good for six months from the issuance date. Read More

New Mexico Regulation And Licensing Department Requests $61.6 Million To Expand Cannabis Enforcement

SANTA FE — The New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department (NMRLD) is requesting $61.6 million in total funding for Fiscal Year 2026 to continue its mission of ensuring qualified professionals provide quality care and services to all people in New Mexico.

NMRLD’s FY26 budget request would provide an additional $562,200 over FY25 to recruit extra enforcement personnel for the Cannabis Control Division (CCD). That request is contingent on the legislature approving expanded law enforcement authority for the department.
