SANTA FE — Officials from Anchorum St. Vincent announced that they have pledged the proceeds from the recent membership reorganization with CHRISTUS Health to the newly created Anchorum Health Foundation.
Over the next 10 years, Anchorum Health Foundation will receive more than $500 million from Anchorum St. Vincent, which includes most of its current assets, along with the proceeds from the membership reorganization announced in October.

New Mexico Economic Development Dept. Announces Grant Opportunity For Marketing Outdoor Recreation Ventures
SANTA FE — New Mexico Economic Development Department Acting Cabinet Secretary Jon Clark has announced a new grant opportunity that has been released by the Outdoor Recreation Division (ORD) to assist with marketing outdoor recreation ventures.
The pilot program is run by ORD, a division of the Economic Development Department, and applications will be open until Dec. 31, 2023.

ALBUQUERQUE — Thursday, the Environmental Improvement Board (EIB) and the Albuquerque-Bernalillo County Air Quality Control Board (AQCB) adopted advanced clean vehicles rules after a joint public hearing.

New Mexico’s Unemployment Rate Was 3.8 Percent In October 2023

New Mexico’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 3.8 percent in October, up from 3.7 percent in September and up from 3.5 percent in the previous year. The national unemployment rate in October was 3.9 percent, up from 3.8 in September and up from 3.7 percent in October 2022.
Total nonagricultural payroll employment grew by 16,700 jobs, or 1.9 percent, between October 2022 and October 2023.
