The Los Alamos Piecemakers Quilt Guild (LAPQG), Sept. 22–23 quilt show will include over 100 quilts, wall hangings, wearable art, and art quilts.
In addition, there will be a show by the 4 Common Corners Art Quilters. Several fabric shops and sewing machine vendors will be present. A silent auction and the Jemez Bear Paws Quilters will have various handmade items available. They will also be raffling the 2023 Donation Quilt – “Two Gray Hills”.

New Mexico Sets 2022 Visitation Record: 40.8 Million Trips

New Mexico Tourism Department News:
SANTA FE — New Mexico set a visitation record in 2022 with an estimated total of 40.8 million trips, surpassing the previous record of 39 million trips set in 2021.
Of the estimated 40.8 million trips to New Mexico in 2022, 16.7 million were overnight trips, representing a 5.8 percent increase from 2021.
