SANTA FE — The Del Norte LOV (Living Our Vision) Foundation, an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit organization associated with Del Norte Credit Union (DNCU), has announced the five nonprofit organization recipients of its 2022 Fall Cycle Del Norte LOV Foundation Community Grant-Making Program.

Each nonprofit organization grantee will receive $2,500 in charitable funds for their programming.

SFNF Announces Holiday Office Closures

SANTA FE — All Santa Fe National Forest (SFNF) offices will be closed Monday, Dec. 26 and Monday, Jan. 2, 2023, in observance of the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays.

SFNF offices will resume regular business hours Tuesday, Dec. 27 and Jan. 3, respectively.

New Mexico Minimum Wage Hike Goes Into Effect Sunday

ALBUQUERQUE — New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS) advises employers and workers that New Mexico’s minimum wage is increasing, effective Sunday, Jan. 1, 2023.

This increase is in accordance with an amendment to the New Mexico Minimum Wage Act signed into law April 1, 2019 by Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham.

Beginning Jan. 1, 2023:

  • State minimum wage: $12 per hour; and
  • State tipped minimum wage: $3 per hour.
