China Moon/Red Dragon Bowl To Close Business

After more than 20 years of running a small business in Los Alamos, the owners have decided to hang up their aprons and close the doors to China Moon/Red Dragon Bowl.

“My family and I own China Moon/Red Dragon Bowl and Los Alamos has been home to our family for many years,” Daphne Chham told the Los Alamos Daily Post.

Chham had decided to pursue a higher education and pave a new career path, she said.

The last day China Moon/Red Dragon Bowl will be open for business is Dec. 24.

Did you see how busy we’ve been!? Our 60th year of serving the Los Alamos community has been a busy one for sure.

Here are some highlight numbers to show what we‘ve been doing so far this year:

  • Nearly 6,000 appointments at the Counseling Center;
  • Nearly 10,000 visits at the Youth Activity Centers;
  • 453 clients at the Counseling Center; and
  • 292 members at the Youth Activity Centers.

OSI Approves Decrease In Workers’ Comp Loss Costs

OSI News:

ALBUQUERQUE — The Office of Superintendent of Insurance (OSI) has recently approved a rate proposal submitted by the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) that will reduce voluntary workers’ compensation loss costs by an average of 10.7 percent, to become effective for policies renewing on or after Jan. 1, 2023.

This marks the eighth consecutive year in which OSI approves a loss cost decrease for workers’ compensation.
