New Mexico Unemployment Rate 4.3% In October 2022

New Mexico’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 4.3 percent in October, up from 4.2 percent in September and down from 6.1 percent in the previous year.

The national unemployment rate in October was 3.7 percent, up from 3.5 percent in September and down from 4.6 percent in October 2021.

Total nonagricultural payroll employment grew by 24,800 jobs, or 3.0 percent, between October 2021 and October 2022. The majority of gains came from the private sector, which was up 22,500 jobs, or 3.4 percent.

The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are looking for an armed man who robbed PNC Bank today at 3500 Candelaria Road NE in Albuquerque.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’9″ tall, wearing a large, dark colored jacket, a gray beanie, sunglasses and dark pants.
