WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Senators Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) and Ben Ray Luján (D-N.M.) announced $3,206,168 in federal funding to support infrastructure upgrades at Cavern City Air Terminal in Carlsbad. New Mexico Cannabis Sales Hit Record High In July

SANTA FE — Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham and the Cannabis Control Division of the Regulation and Licensing Department announced Thursday that July cannabis sales set a new record for monthly total sales, topping every previous month including April, New Mexico’s first month of legalized recreational or “adult-use” cannabis sales.

County Council Recesses Hearing On Worms And Wildflower Daycare Special Use Permit Until Aug. 19

COUNTY News:

The Los Alamos County Council has recessed until Aug. 19, the appeal hearing regarding the Planning and Zoning Commission revised final order for the Worms and Wildflower Daycare special use permit.

The hearing was first held Monday; it continued Friday morning, during which council voted unanimously to recess until Aug. 19.

Councilors Melanee Hand, Sara Scott, Denise Derkacs and Keith Lepsch along with Council Chair Randall Ryti attended Friday’s meeting. Councilors David Reagor and David Izraelevitz were absent.
