WASHINGTON, D.C. — Last Friday, Center for Food Safety (CFS) endorsed the Toxic Free Food Actnew legislation introduced by Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-CT-03) that would overhaul the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) process for determining the safety of chemicals used in the food supply.

SANTA FE — Economic Development Department’s (EDD) Cabinet Secretary Alicia J. Keyes announced that five New Mexico, high-growth potential companies were awarded Science & Technology Business Start Up Grants at $25,000 each.

Science & Technology Business Start Up Grants are available to New Mexico-based for profit science and technology companies with fewer than 50 employees. Eligible businesses must work in one of the following fields: aerospace, biosciences, cybersecurity, intelligent manufacturing, and sustainable and green energy.

White Rock Is Out Of Gas

For the time being, there is no way to fill up your gas tank in White Rock.

Both gas stations, Phillips 66 (Tewa Market) on N.M. 4 at Rover Boulevard and Speedway on Rover Boulevard at N.M. 4 are unable to provide gas to customers.

The lack of fuel is actually a coincidence, according to gas station employees at both stations.

Speedway is awaiting a late delivery of gasoline, an employee said. The station is unsure when gas will arrive as Speedway and the company supplying their gas have been unsuccessful in their attempts to contact the gas truck driver. Speedway is awaiting an update from Read More
