Construction To Start This Week On New Mexico Museum Of Art Vladem Contemporary In Santa Fe’s Railyard District

The New Mexico Museum of Art (NMMOA) and the Museum of New Mexico Foundation have announced that construction work will begin this week on the New Mexico Museum of Art Vladem Contemporary on the site of the Halpin Building in the Railyard District in Santa Fe.

This moves the museum one step closer to the vision of a dedicated space for contemporary art to complement the historic 1917 building on the Santa Fe Plaza.

The New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) issued citations to O’Reilly Auto Parts (O’Reilly) for violations of the Occupational Health and Safety Act that resulted in an unsafe workplace.

The citations were issued for violations by management to protect employees from exposure to COVID-19. NMED assessed penalties of $242,827.20 for the violations.
